Wrestling In The Middle To Late 70s

What was going on in the middle to late 70s? Who was popular and who was not popular? What feuds were going on between wrestlers ? The year was 1975 and Bruno Sammartino was the heavyweight champion. This was his second run as champion and he had been champion for two whole years.

Tribute to Mae Young and the Fabulous Moolah

I had just heard the sad new while watching TNA Wrestling that Mae Young had passed away. I know that on Monday Night Raw that they mentioned that Mae was not doing too good. It is very sad, because I always enjoyed watching her wrestle. I thought it was awesome that she was wrestling in her 80s. It was just a few years ago that I saw her jump off the turnbuckle ropes. I could not believe what I was seeing.

Some More Of My Favourite Wrestlers From 1972

Here are some more of my favourite wrestlers from 1972. There were so many I can't remember them all. Maybe as time goes on and I write more it will jog my memory and I will remember some more. I remember some of those big names like Pedro Morales, who was the WWWF Champion in 1972. Here is a picture of him below.

Top 25 Wrestlers from the '60s and '70s

Above is a nice little video I saw. I thought I would share it. It of course does not cover all the Legends I remember but it is interesting, so enjoy.

My Favorite Wrestlers Through The Years

I have been watching wrestling since I was around 12 years old. I remember the wrestlers like Haystacks Calhoun, Little Abner Osborne and Dominic DeNucci as well as many others. My stepfather was the one who got me
interested in the sport of wrestling. He told me that he used to wrestle in New York City years ago. He would always tell me how hard his stomach was. He would then say go ahead and hit me in the stomach. Of course I never did that, but I still get a chuckle from it.
